Why am I being charged postage?Updated 15 hours ago
Why am I being charged postage even though my order qualifies for free shipping?
Our free shipping offer applies to most orders over $50, but it depends on your location and the items in your order.
Some addresses fall into remote or on‑forwarding zones, where Australia Post charges extra due to the distance or special handling required. Certain heavy or bulky items may also be excluded from free shipping. If either of these applies, postage will be calculated at checkout.
Common postcode ranges that may trigger the remote shipping charge include:
- Northern Territory: 0822–0899
- Remote Western Australia: 6720–6798
- Far North Queensland: 4871–4895 (including Cape York and Torres Strait)
- Remote islands: Lord Howe Island (2898), Norfolk Island (2899)
Our website automatically checks your postcode and applies the correct rate. While we regularly review and update our postcode classifications, there may occasionally be discrepancies. If you believe your address should qualify for free shipping but postage is being applied, please contact us so we can review it for you.
If your address is not in a remote zone and your order qualifies, free shipping will apply automatically at checkout.
